  • Entry Background/Description: "Siblings, ages 7 - 17, of our traditional patient campers spend a weekend at camp enjoying a program that puts the focus solely on them!!

    This year, not only did we celebrate these incredible siblings, but in addition to some traditional camp activities such as ropes, arts & crafts, and polar bear, we also celebrated seven different holidays/celebrations over the course of the program. Yes, SEVEN!
    Celebrations such as: birthdays, April Fool's Day, New Year's Eve complete with a ball drop and sparkler send off and a full Friendsgiving turkey dinner, just to name a few. The weekend was filled with friendships, smiles and so much laughter! And ohhhhh... the Shenanigans!!
    In addtion to fun filled activities, we also provide space for these siblings to freely share their common concerns and experiences in an environment of friendship and love.
    As one of our siblings shared at the end of the program, “Camp was AMAZING, and I wish I could stay here forever! Thanks!”

At TKT we give them space to be in the limelight, to laugh uncontrollably and to simply be a kid.
