Entry Background/Description: Super Dan has been creating super cool games and activities and has gone above and beyond this year. He rigged up a portable Bottle Rocket Launcher. The campers spent the morning decorating their Rocket ( a 2L pop bottle). They bedazzled it so that maybe this would fly the highest or would be the most noticeable once it is about 40 feet in the air! In the after, the campers lined up and marched out to the launch site. WIth a very loud and excited 3-2-1- each campers rocket was launched up into the air! Seems that the ones with the loudest chants went the highest!!!
Why You Should Vote for Me: WCK runs our Day Camp out of one of our local schools. This means we transform it into a magical camp space. We bring the fun to every corner of the school. Our Bottle Rockets are something new and exciting for the kids to do. Next year we will have a launcher that does TWO at a time!
