American Cancer Society/COCA-I Conference Scholarship $450 Value


To encourage education and professional development the America Cancer Society has generously agreed to sponsor scholarships for first-time attendees of COCAcon 2019 . The scholarship allows a first-time attendee to attend conference for free - a $450 value.


  • Applicants must be affiliated with a current and active COCA-I member camp.
  • Recipients are responsible for any and all costs associated with travel and hotel accommodations.
  • Each applicant must provide one reference from the Camp Director/Staff Member of their camp.
  • Applications submitted online are due August 30, 2019 by 11:59 PM.

Each application will be reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee. This committee includes members from the Board of Directors, including the President, Members at Large and Appointed Members. The selections will be made and each applicant will be notified of the results before Early Bird Special registration rates expire to ensure those not selected may still attend conference at a reduced rate.

Applications submitted online are due August 30, 2019 by 11:59 PM.

Send application submitted by mail to COCA-I, 144 Anya Road, Corrales NM 87048 and must be postmarked on, or before, August 30, 2019.

Late applications will not be accepted.
