- Entry Background/Description: This year for Pirate Week, we went all out at our range program with pirate battleships and fencing! Campers named their ships and then decorated them by throwing paint colored tennis balls at their signs, a bit messy but loads of fun! Then they took aim with cannon balls (splash balls) to defeat their opponents ship. For pirate fencing, campers walked the plank and used pool noodles to battle above the shark infested waters below! Each group loved these twists on the archery range!
