- Entry Background/Description: Seizing on the amazing popularity of the Savannah Bananas, we hosted a meet and greet with the team while they were in Birmingham for two games. Our Brunch with a Bunch of Bananas was hosted this summer at Smile-A-Mile Place. Over 100 participants and 80 members of the Savannah Bananas and Party Animals teams came together for food, fun, and fellowship. The team brought their band and players to sign autographs, take pictures, and visit with our families. Players participated in Smile-A-Mile favorites like making buttons and photo booth stations. This was the crown jewel of SAM programming this year.
