Entry Background/Description:
Roger has been coming to Camp Rising Sun for many years. In addition to having had cancer, Roger is non-verbal and requires the use of a wheelchair. Despite these limitations, Roger LOVES camp and camp loves Roger!
This past year, Roger was one of our "graduating seniors". At our week-ending dance, we played one of Roger's favorite songs, the Hokey Pokey. And in true CRS fashion, the entire camp joined in on the fun! Such a wonderful memory for Roger and all of us! - Why You Should Vote for Me: This was one of those unplanned moments that make camp so special. The smile on Roger's face says it all.
