Entry Background/Description: This year’s summer camp theme was “Sail Away With SAM”. With this theme, we made sailboats in woodworking, used seaglass to make picture frames in arts and crafts, and of course dressed up as sailors for the dance! We had so much fun with this nautical theme.
Why You Should Vote for Me: We strive as an organization to find themes that fit the fun of our camp as well as represent what we want the summer to mean for our campers. At Smile-A-Mile, we want everyone attending camp to feel they are in a place where they can forget all of the hardships that often is part of their journey. We are consistently creative and thoughtful when choosing summer themes for our campers.
