Entry Background/Description: Our camp theme this year was “Goodtimes Time Machine: A Blast from the Past” to celebrate 40 summers of Camp Goodtimes. Throughout the week we visited various time periods like the Stone Age, Ancient Greece, Roaring 20’s, 1970’s and 80’s, and the future. Our T-Shirt features a time machine powered by 40 years of hope, love, and joy which highlights each of the time periods we would be visiting. Campers received this shirt in a vibrant teal while Staff got bright pink, the perfect colors to fit in with our 1980’s day!
Why You Should Vote for Me: We are extremely proud that Camp Goodtimes has been in operation for 40 summers, and wanted to celebrate with our campers. A large portion of our volunteers were previously campers and “traveling back in time” let us engage and acknowledge their commitment to our organization. Campers awoke each morning to a new era and got to participate in fun themed activities like creating their own time machines with newly imagined power sources. Our T-Shirt not only helped to encapsulate the theme while at camp, but also is a memento to help campers remember the fun week they had.
