Entry Background/Description: Candlelighters and Camp Firefly are all about creating a community for our diagnosed children and their families where they feel seen and heard. In your life, you can be supported by a great number of people that love you, but not everyone understands what you're going through. At Camp Firefly, our kids get to interact with other kids that are going through the same treatments. Siblings are able to feel cared for and catered to, and bereaved siblings can know they'll never be left out of our family. These pictures represent not only the community we foster, but the lifelong memories we aim to facilitate.
