Entry Background/Description: This picture is more than meets the eye. The counselor on the left is a cancer survivor and has been a camper and volunteer with our organization for many years. He is helping a current camper with a teamwork challenge. Though years apart, both went through similar cancers, challenges and ultimately, both lost their left legs. This picture symbolizes why we do what we do at camp. We create experiences that allow us to connect and learn from a unique and amazing group of people. Then take those lessons and continue to help build others up.
