For the final 5 weeks before camp this summer, we sent out interactive newsletters for our counselors. Our goal was the build the excitement, teach some new things, and provide an incentive for reading all of the newsletters with a surprise gift at camp for those who found the "mystery word" in each newsletter. Many people have Microsoft platforms but don't know how to use all of the apps. One app called "Sway" allows the creation of visibly appealing newsletters with a variety of features to make it interactive. You can create one too easily enough if you have Microsoft too. We included training videos, photos, embedded forms to fill out, and more! We were thoughtful about incorporating our theme throughout using photos, wording, and content.
